SERVICES EVERY SUNDAY
South Hills is a new church in Santa Clarita. We believe that church should be a place where everyone is welcome and anyone can belong – regardless of race, class, or creed. We try our best to create that environment at South Hills, and we would love for you to come and see for yourself. We meet Sunday mornings at 10am.
We’re all looking for people and places that are positive, encouraging, life-giving, and accepting of us regardless of where we’ve been and what we’ve done. But where do we find these kinds of places? There never seem to be enough. What if instead of finding a place like that, you wanted to form a place like that? How would you do that? What would it take? And once you found out, would you think it’s worth the effort?
Efren Pena was born and raised in New York City before moving out to California with his family and embarking on a journey of ministry. He loves the Yankees, ESPN, the Local Church & his family (Not in that particular order of course). He is passionate about loving people where they are in life and drawing a connection line to Jesus.
He and his wife (Monica) recently moved back to California with their 4 kids (Jennel, Madison, Sophia & Noa) after serving as the Campus Pastors of South Hills Puerto Rico. They are excited to begin a new journey at South Hills Santa Clarita.
"What I love about South Hills is that you can be yourself. You don’t have to pretend to be someone else, or like you have to have it all together."
"We just moved here so we were new to the area and new to the community. Finding good true friendships and real relationships was hard, and this has just been a place for us to call home."
"I was looking for a sense of community, and since coming to South Hills I have this great sense of friendship. I truly feel like I belong here."
