Buddy Assignment

Assist in helping to make sure buddies and honored guest get to where they need to be after they are assigned. Also may need to be flexible and be assigned to do other tasks in this area.

Age Requirement: 18+

Coat Checker

Greet guests, take their coats, label them and hang them. As guests leave, ask for their names and retrieve their coats. The coat check area can also serve as a lost and found at the end of the evening.

Corsage/Boutonniere Assistant

Assist in the pinning/putting on of boutonnieres and corsages onto the honored guests.

Age Requirement: 18+
Time requirement: 4:45-7:00pm

Volunteer Break Attendants

You will be responsible for giving breaks to volunteers so they can get dinner.

Age Requirement: 18+
Time requirement: 5:30-9:00pm

Flower Distribution

Assist in organizing the corsages and boutonnieres and helping to hand out to honored guests.

Age Requirement: 18+
Time requirement: 5:00-7:00pm

Food Server

Prepare and serve food to guests in main event space and Respite Room (for parents, caretakers or family members). Be knowledgeable about the items and assist guests in finding what they would like (especially if they have dietary restrictions or allergies) and refill food warmers, drinks and snacks.

Time requirement: 5:00-8:00pm

Gift Bag Host

Manage gifts and help each guest collect their favors to take home.

Time requirement: 7-9:30 pm

Hair & Makeup Team

Arrive at the designated time and assist the set-up team with the salon area. Welcome each guest to a salon station for hair and makeup. Chat with them while you pamper them and make them feel special.

Red Carpet

Treat honored guests like celebrities and VIPs as they arrive.

Time requirement: 4:30-8 pm

Parking & Transportation Host

Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic for easy vehicle entry and exit. Assist guests as they exit vehicles, and help them find the registration area. Be available as guests return to their vehicles following the event.

Photographer

We are telling the story of how Jesus loves each and every one of his children. Help capture that story through pictures of the night. You must be a professional photographer to apply.

Registration Host

Warmly greet guests, sign them in, give them their name tag or lanyard, and answer any questions they may have.

Time requirement: 4:30-7:00 pm

Respite Room Host

Love on the parents/caretakers by serving food, spending time getting to know them and being available to pray with them.

Age Requirement: 16+
Time requirement: 5:00-9:00pm

Sensory Room Host

Spend time with guests who may have become over-stimulated on the dance floor or in other areas of the prom. Interact with them by participating in sensory activities, singing or listening to calming music or simply providing them with some quiet time.

Set-Up Team

Arrive at the designated time and execute event set-up, connect with DJ, audio/visual, activity and parking teams to ensure they have everything they need and the best possible event layout is in place.

Shoeshiner

Arrive at the designated time and assist the set-up team with the salon area. Welcome each guest to a salon station for a shoeshine. Chat with them while you pamper them and make them feel special.

Tear Down Team

Takedown decorations, tables, chairs, etc. and clean up the event space.

Time requirement: 9:00-11:00 pm

Volunteer Check-In Host

Limo Host

You will be stationed outside in front of the Limo pick up and drop off.  You will be responsible for monitoring the limo line as well as, helping our honored guests in and out of the limo.

Time requirement: 4:45-9:00pm

Bathroom Attendant

You will be responsible for checking on the bathrooms, straightening anything out of place and restocking toilet paper and napkins.
