REPORTS TO: Campus Pastor
REPORTS TO YOU: Volunteers
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: To help move the mission of the church forward by providing administrative and operational support to the Campus pastor and team. Acts in many ways as, the glue of the campus and the first impression of South Hills Church to the community.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Have 2+ year(s) of church ministry experience
- Must know how to develop and execute strategies to reach stated goals
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO...
- Budget: maintain all ministry budgets, balance with Central accounting, pay bills
- Calendars: manage all campus calendars (church, staff, facility, and Campus Pastor)
- Facility: ensure facility is stocked with necessary supplies and is safe and clean for ministry on a weekly basis
- Manage information in PCO (Church Database), Church website, and Dropbox.
- Meetings: attend staff meetings, strategic meetings, and calendar planning meetings.
- Office: maintain office supplies, return phone calls, respond to emails.
- Oversee finance volunteers, events volunteers, and facilities volunteers.
- Plan and execute church events throughout the year. (Dream Team Nights, Facility Rentals, Dream Nights, and other events taking place on Campus)
- Services: help Campus Pastor plan and prepare for weekend service needs as they arise. Make sure supplies for weekend are stocked and ready to go.
TIME COMMITMENT: 20 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time hourly, hybrid remote, $18 - $22 per hour

TIME COMMITMENT/JOB TYPE: 20 Hours Per Week: Part-time hourly, hybrid remote model
OTHER TIME REQUIREMENTS: Sunday mornings, occasional mid-week and night meetings as they
arise.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- To lead the Sunday morning experience in South Hills Kids (SHK) alongside a team of volunteers.
- To better creatively connect, interact, teach, and influence the kids and families of South Hills
Church so kids can develop an authentic faith.

- Has experience working with kids in the context of a church.
- Experience working with and leading volunteers.
JOB EXPECATATIONS:
- Plan, develop, and implement all aspects of South Hills Kids.
- Recruit, train, lead, and retain a volunteer base for each area of the ministry.
- Budget: Maintain the ministry budget throughout the year.
- Childcare: Ensure childcare is in place for classes, trainings and events as needed.
- Communicate with leaders and parents on a regular basis (via social media, emails,
texts, etc.) - Child Dedication: Promote, plan and execute child dedications alongside of Campus
Pastor. - Baptisms: Work with Campus Pastor to develop a plan for preparing baptisms for kids.
- Events: Plan and execute events for South Hills Kids throughout the year.
- Curriculum: Ensure all aspects of curriculum are ready each Sunday (nursery, preschool,
elem.) - Facility: Ensure facility is safe and clean for ministry on a weekly basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORSHIP LEADER (80%)
WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate your worship team in preparation for weekend services
- Schedule songs in PCO
- Prepare and arrange loops/tracks for the weekend
- Connect with Campus Pastor regarding the weekend flow/goals/topics
- Lead band rehearsals/prep
MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule band via PCO
- Work on Creative Elements for Weekend Services
- Continue to look forward in music trends and select songs accordingly
- Track & be responsible to stay within allotted worship budget
- Spiritually lead and develop your team beyond the stage and weekend
YEARLY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate worship/band for special events when needed
- Developing volunteer musicians, singers, and worship leaders
- Begin to replace yourself and allow others to lead more
- Foster “next level” relationships with your team, value them throughout the year
STAFF TEAM MEMBER (20%)
- Meeting with Campus Pastor to align and execute ministry priorities, goals, and strategies
- Staff Meetings, Activities & Strategic Planning
- All Church Events / Next Steps Activities

OTHER THINGS HELPFUL TO THE ROLE
- Knowledge/experience with Ableton Live/ProTools
- Basic knowledge of ProPresenter
- Basic audio/visual knowledge
TIME COMMITMENT: 40 hours per week, including:
- Rehearsals & Weekend Setup
- Team Night | 3-4 times a year (all volunteers/staff)
- Staff Meetings | Flexible Scheduling, as deemed necessary by Campus Pastor
JOB TYPE: Full-time salary
SALARY RANGE: $50,000 - $60,000
