Money. It makes the world go round. We can’t avoid it. We think about, stress, and obsess over it. We’re driven by and indebted to it. We’re definitely convinced we’d be better off if we had a whole lot more of it. Jesus said some surprising things about money. What would happen if you practiced what he preached?

Bryon and his wife Darci have a deep love and desire to create community in every area of life. Growing up in SoCal, surfing, skating, the beach life and a love for food and fun makes for the perfect fit for Manhattan Beach, the South Bay and the surrounding areas. Bryon and his wife Darci have three children Jack, Ann, and Alice, not to mention their two adult daughters, Madison and Audra who is mother to their granddaughter Adalynn Faye. Even with all of the amazing experiences they’ve had in life, nothing means more to them than loving God and loving people, and they will be sure to love beyond words and live it out by helping to meet the needs of their community. “Not only is everyone invited but everyone is included and we hope we get the chance to be included in your lives as well!” - Bryon
"This church has changed our lives around and it is continuing to change it for the better. We never thought we would find so much love in one place and devotion to serve and care for others. God is wonderful and I am blessed that he has brought my husband and I to this place."
"Ever since Ruth began attending South Hills, she would always speak of how wonderful and how moving the church was. Once I came home from overseas, I began attending and shared the same feelings as her. It has been a wonderful experience being a part of the South Hills family."
"At South Hills Church, you feel an authentic hospitality when you are greeted in a genuine family atmosphere. The worship experience is vibrant and creates an atmosphere of sanctified spiritual energy where we can celebrate Jesus."

We're located in the building behind the new Good Will on the corner of Hamner and Town & Country.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. There’s a good chance our pastor will be in jeans & a t-shirt.
We serve free, fresh-brewed Starbucks coffee & delicious donut holes (with & without sprinkles).
The seats are comfy. There are rows of chairs, club tables, cozy couches & restaurant-style VIP booths.
The preacher is engaging, entertaining, inspiring & insightful. He also sort-of looks like a brainy lumberjack.
The music is energetic, emotive and (yes) a bit loud. Trust us, you’re gonna want to clap along. Ear plugs are available.
We’ve got fun, safe age-specific kids environments for children birth through 6th grade.
We suggest you get there 15 minutes early to get your littles checked in so you don’t miss a thing.
There is also a family viewing area with cushy couches for those parents that want to keep their kids with them.
The whole service lasts about an hour & 15 minutes. And it’s actually enjoyable all the way through.
We look forward to seeing you there!
