GO BEYOND SUNDAY THIS SUMMER AT SOUTH HILLS BURBANK
We know that the Summer can be a little crazy with vacation plans, kids activities, and the other things of life that happen so we thought we would put Summer at South Hills Burbank in one place for you! One of our values is that we grow more in circles than we do in rows and we believe the Summer is a great opportunity to get out of that row on Sunday and experience the life that can happen in a circle. Below is a break down by Ministry of everything we want you to know about this Summer!

JUNE 16: FATHER'S DAY
Father's Day at South Hills Church is one of our favorite Sundays! We love to honor all the incredible dads with our annual Sausage Biscuit Toss!
JUNE 30: DISCOVER
Ready to take your first step of going Beyond Sunday at South Hills? That first step is Discover. Come spend 45 minutes with our Pastor and staff while learning more about who we are as a church, and what we believe your part in it all is!

JULY 8: SPANISH SUMMMER SMALL GROUP SPRINT STARTS

JULY 9: WOMEN'S SUMMMER SMALL GROUP SPRINT STARTS
Ladies join us for a special Summer Small Group Sprint over the Summer that will dive deeper into the message series for July & August. All Groups will meet in the Community Room every Tuesday Night for 8 weeks at 7pm.
JULY 11: MEN'S SUMMER SMALL GROUP SPRINT STARTS
Men join us for a special Summer Small Group Sprint over the Summer that will dive deeper into the message series for July & August. All Groups will meet in the Community Room every Thursday Night for 8 weeks at 7pm.
JULY 20: GUEST SERVICES TEAM PICKLEBALL PALOOZA
If you serve as a greeter, in the cafe, usher, or our parking team this palooza is for you! We want to celebrate our incredible Guest Services Volunteers. Join us from 12pm - 2pm!
AUGUST
AUGUST 16: SCRIPTURE ONSCREEN - AN EVENING WITH JUDAS FROM THE CHOSEN
Join us for a special Q&A with actor Luke Dimyan from The Chosen. Luke plays the role of Judas in what has become one of the most popular series out right now! Tickets cost $10.

AUGUST 30: DREAM TEAM NIGHT
Our Dream Team of volunteers carry the vision, move the mission, and create the culture at South Hills Church. Dream Team Nights are an opportunity for us to celebrate all the people who are making a difference at our church. We will also hear vision from our Campus Pastor, talk about how we can continue to move the mission forward, and build culture together. If you volunteer at South Hills in any way (Sundays, Students, Groups, or Love The 818) this night is for you! The night gets started at 6:30pm.

JUNE
JUNE 24-27: XTREME WEEK
Xtreme Week is for children entering 1st-6th grade in the Fall of 2024. Cost is $40 per kid.
*Students entering 7th -12th grade in the Fall 2024 can join the fun by volunteering.

JULY 2: PICNIC IN THE PARK
South Hills Kids Families join us for popsicles in the park at Santa Anita Park from 5pm-6:30pm. SHK will provide the popsicles and yard games!
JULY 14: SUMMER BLAST SUNDAY
South Hills Kids join us for a special Sunday Blast full of Laser Tag!
JULY 16: SHK Volunteer Connect
South Hills Kids Volunteers Connect via Zoom. 6pm-7pm
AUGUST
AUGUST 8: BACK TO SCHOOL PICNIC
South Hills Kids Families join us for a special Back To School Picnic. Bring your own picnic; food, blanket/chair and fun. SHK will provide sweet treats and yard games
AUGUST 11: MOVE UP SUNDAY
Move Up Sunday is the official Sunday where South Hills Kids that are transitioning Sunday morning environments will enter their next stage!
AUGUST 15: SHK Volunteer Connect

Students come hang with us for a night full of fun, games, and so much more. The night gets started at 6:30pm in the Community Room.
JUNE 26: XTREME HANGOUT
Students meet us at Acai Jungle for hangs from 4:00pm-6:00pm.

JULY 10: SHS VOLUNTEER CONNECT
South Hills Students Volunteers this night is for you! Meet us at Round 1 Bowling from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
JULY 13: HIKE
Students meet us at Ferndell Trail for a morning hike from 9:00am-10:30am.
JULY 24: MOVIE MANIA
Students come hang with us for a night full of movie madness and mania. The night gets started at 6:30pm in the Community Room.
AUGUST
AUGUST 7: GRILL & GAMES
Students this night is about good food off the grill and games galore. The night gets started at 6:30pm in the Community Room.
AUGUST 10: UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
Students come hang with us at Universal Studios! Meet us at the church at 9:00am and we will be back at 3:00pm.
AUGUST 21: PICKLEBALL PALOOZA
Students this is your night to show off just how well you can get yourself out of a pickle. Pickleball and more! The night starts at 6:30pm in the Community Room.
