Love The 818 exists to serve the people and community of Burbank. Our heart is to make sure that every person knows that Jesus loves them not simply based on our words, but through how we love and serve one another.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world.
Shoebox sized boxes are packed with fun and useful items and then they are shipped through Samaritan's Purse outside and inside the United States.
Here are ways that you can help:
1) Pray for the Operation Christmas Child program and the people that it serves.
2) Pick up a box in the community room starting October 13th, pack it and return it before Nov 17th
3) Attend the OCC Packing Party (11/9/24). All collected donations are used on this day to build as many boxes as we can!
4) Visit the Amazon wish list and purchase items for the OCC Packing Party
5) Donate to help alleviate the shipping cost for Samaritans Purse ($10 per box)

ASCENSIA DINNER
We will prepare a breakfast-for-dinner themed dinner and feed families on site at Ascencia.
Ascencia’s mission is to lift people out of homelessness, one person, one family at a time. They provide a community where people in need can find services, resources, and safe, affordable housing to rebuild their lives. They serve as a 45-bed emergency shelter and showers to accommodate shelter residents and others on the waiting list.
