“…IF YOU HAVE TWO SHIRTS, GIVE ONE TO THE POOR. IF YOU HAVE FOOD, SHARE IT WITH THOSE WHO ARE HUNGRY.” MARK 3:11
Why do we LOVE THE 818?
To meet needs in our local community. To support organizations who help the poor, broken and hurting. To support the city of Burbank, schools, and local events.
How do we LOVE THE 818?
We are always looking for needs in our community. We offer Love the 818 serving opportunities the last Saturday of every month to mobilize volunteers to do good in our community. We offer a variety of serving projects and make it easy for you and your family to serve. We do our best to offer opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Our serving projects are open to anyone. You do not have to attend South Hills Church to serve.

ON-GOING LOVE THE 818 OPPORTUNITIES
ASCENCIA
Ascencia exists to lift people out of homelessness one person, one family at a time. They provide a community where people in need can find services, resources, and safe, affordable housing. Love The 818 continues to serve hot meals to the 45 residents at Ascencia. Even if you don't cook you can purchase drinks, fruit, granola bars, or other premade items to help serve this amazing community. If you are interested in serving contact Penny Zambrano and she will put you on the volunteer sign up list!
