REPORTS TO YOU: Volunteer musicians/singers
RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORSHIP LEADER (80%)
WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate your worship team in preparation for weekend services
- Schedule songs in PCO
- Prepare and arrange loops/tracks for the weekend
- Connect with Campus Pastor regarding the weekend flow/goals/topics
- Lead band rehearsals/prep
MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule band via PCO
- Work on Creative Elements for Weekend Services
- Continue to look forward in music trends and select songs accordingly
- Track & be responsible to stay within allotted worship budget
- Spiritually lead and develop your team beyond the stage and weekend
YEARLY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate worship/band for special events when needed
- Developing volunteer musicians, singers, and worship leaders
- Begin to replace yourself and allow others to lead more
- Foster “next level” relationships with your team, value them throughout the year
STAFF TEAM MEMBER (20%)
- Meeting with Campus Pastor to align and execute ministry priorities, goals, and strategies
- Staff Meetings, Activities & Strategic Planning
- All Church Events / Next Steps Activities
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Have 2+ year(s) of church ministry experience
- Must know how to develop and execute strategies to reach stated goals

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Ministry Coordinator provides essential central support by organizing volunteers, communication, events, resources, and systems that serve all South Hills campuses. This person thrives behind the scenes, cares about people, and loves making ministry work well — all with a spirit of humility, excellence, and joy. Core Skills would include: Volunteer Training & Coordination, Project Coordination, Process execution, Problem Solver, Communication (verbal & written), AI comfort, and high flexibility.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Volunteer Coordination & Training
- Build and coordinate a team of volunteers to support central operations.
- Train volunteers to be more effective at their home campuses.
Campus Operations & Problem-Solving
- Act as the primary operational contact for campuses, resolving issues, coordinating logistical solutions, and tracking campus-wide timelines and deliverables.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Proactively evaluate and refine operational processes, introducing innovative technologies and standardized procedures to maximize efficiency.
Senior Leadership Interface & Support
- Clearly represent senior leadership decisions and directions to campus teams, actively collecting and reporting campus feedback to inform future planning.
Central Communication & Calendars
- Maintain the All-Campus Calendar accurately, proactively communicating details for upcoming series, events, meetings, and trainings.
Event & Campaign Coordination
- Plan and execute church-wide initiatives, managing campaign logistics including timelines, graphics, print orders, and distribution.
- Ensure campuses receive clear and consistent resources, partnering with Central Director and designers to localize materials.
Reporting & Analytics
- Regularly collect, analyze, and present clear, insightful ministry metrics through periodic reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Cross-Campus Collaboration
- Facilitate resource-sharing and coordinated activities across campuses for unified operations.
Talent Acquisition & Administrative Support
- Oversee staff hiring and onboarding, ensure compliance with screenings, and coordinate all-staff events, retreats, and internal training sessions.
Continuous Learning & Ministry Trends
- Stay informed of emerging trends in church operations and volunteer management, proactively applying insights to enhance ministry effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Committed to living a Jesus-centered life
- Exceptional organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines with excellence
- Proficient with G Suite, project management platforms, online collaboration tools, and virtual meeting technologies
JOB TYPE
- Full-time position located in the Corona area with a flexible hybrid schedule

This leader must be able to engage and foster meaningful connections with kids and parents. This leader must be able to recruit volunteers, develop leaders, and equip their team to care for the children at South Hills.
This leader must have a heart to reach out and impact our community, interested in creating or facilitating activities and experiences that balance growth for Christians with comfortable inclusion of unchurched folks. South Hills is, first and foremost, a “church for the unchurched,” which puts our organization in the unique position of finding ways to radically welcome and accommodate first time guests while also building a church community in which those who have been following Jesus for long periods of time can still actively grow. A leader whose skills, expertise, and personal calling equips them to care for children (birth -5th grade) personally, as well as releasing and supporting volunteers to do the work of ministry.

TIME COMMITMENT
HOURS PER WEEK: 20 hrs, Part-time
- Sunday mornings, certain midweek events/gatherings, and scheduled staff meetings
- Hybrid work model – we don’t have a structured “office culture” – it’s a mixture of working from home, from cafes, and from the office – as long as the work is getting done.RESPONSIBILITIES
- SOUTH HILLS KIDS (90%)
- Plan, develop, and implement all aspects of South Hills Kids ministry
- Recruit, train, lead, and retain a volunteer base for each area of the ministry
- Childcare: Ensure childcare is in place for classes, trainings and events as needed
- Communicate with leaders and parents on a regular basis (via social media, emails, texts, etc.)
- Child Dedication: Promote, plan and execute child dedications alongside of Campus Pastor
- Baptisms: Work with Campus Pastor to develop a plan for preparing baptisms for kids
- Events: Plan and execute events for South Hills Kids throughout the year
- Curriculum: Ensure all aspects of curriculum are ready each Sunday (nursery, preschool, elem.)
- SOUTH HILLS STAFF (10%)
- Meeting with Campus Pastor to align and execute ministry priorities, goals and strategies
- Staff Meetings, Activities & Strategic Planning
- All Church Events / Next Steps
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Has 2+yrs experience working with kids
- Must know how to develop and execute strategies to reach stated goals
- Have experience recruiting, leading and developing volunteers
