SERVICES EVERY SUNDAY
South Hills is a multicultural church in the beautiful city of Dorado, Puerto Rico. Just 35 minutes from the capital city of San Juan. We believe that church should be a place where everyone is welcome and anyone can belong – regardless of race, class, or creed. We try our best to create that environment at South Hills, and we would love for you to come and see for yourself. On Sunday mornings, we meet at 10am (Español)
We look forward to seeing you at South Hills.
Christmas is supposed to be the best time of year. We place such enormous expectations on the Holiday season to fill our lives with the hope, peace, joy, and love we’re longing for. But, what if things don’t go according to plan, and you’re not where you want to be, and people don’t do what you want them to do, and you don’t get what you asked for? These are the questions the Christmas story confronts. Jesus’ birth radically reframed for humanity where hope, peace, joy, and love truly come from and how we go about experiencing them. What if Christmas isn’t what you thought it was, what if it’s something so much bigger and better?
Born and raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Dollian gave his life to Jesus at the age of 13. He moved to Dorado 5 years ago, and began attending South Hills Church in 2017 and started serving as a First Impressions Leader. Dollian loves basketball and reading about leadership and business. He believes that the church is a place for everyone no matter their condition, looks, or way of life.
"Ever since Ruth began attending South Hills, she would always speak of how wonderful and how moving the church was. Once I came home from overseas, I began attending and shared the same feelings as her. It has been a wonderful experience being a part of the South Hills family."
"At South Hills Church, you feel an authentic hospitality when you are greeted in a genuine family atmosphere. The worship experience is vibrant and creates an atmosphere of sanctified spiritual energy where we can celebrate Jesus."
"I love South Hills Puerto Rico because from the very first time that I attended, I felt welcomed. Everyone truly treated me like part of their family. It was very refreshing to know that God had placed me into a church that had such a close group of believers."
"I love my South Hills Church for a couple of reasons. For starters, Pastor Efren teaches a relevant word every Sunday. I leave our gatherings with useful information that can be applied to my everyday life, immediately. Also, I love the people there, they’re genuine and actively Do Life together."
